Carl Bildt travels to Lima for EU-Latin America summit
Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt is taking part in the EU-Latin America and Caribbean summit on 16-17 May in Lima, Peru.
During the summit, the heads of state and government of EU and Latin American states will discuss poverty reduction and sustainable development, with a particular focus on the environment, climate change and energy.
Prior to the summit, there will be a meeting between the EU and Latin American foreign ministers with the issues of regional integration, drugs, intercultural dialogue and migration on the agenda.
