Carl Bildt to visit Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe

In his capacity as Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt will speak at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on Monday, 23 June. Important themes in Mr Bildt's speech include Sweden's priorities for its chairmanship, what we have accomplished during the initial phase and the role of the Council of Europe in European cooperation.

In addition, Mr Bildt will have talks with the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Lluis de Puig, Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Terry Davis and President of the European Court of Human Rights Jean Paul Costa.
