New ambassadors in Skopje, Tripoli and Zagreb
Today the Government appointed Lars Fredén as Ambassador in Skopje (Macedonia), Anne Marie Dierauer as Ambassador for Tripoli (Libya), based in Stockholm, and Fredrik Vahlquist as Ambassador in Zagreb (Croatia).
Lars Fredén is currently Sweden's Ambassador in Zagreb. He has previously served in a security policy capacity at the Prime Minister's Office, has held various positions at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, has been stationed at Swedish missions abroad in Beijing, Moscow, Riga, Hong Kong and Beirut, and has been Head of Department at the European Space Agency (ESA).
Anne Marie Dierauer is currently Head of Human Resources at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. She has previously worked at the Ministry of Justice, the National Board of Health and Welfare, in the private sector in Sweden and internationally, and at the former National Tax Board and Ministry of Trade.
Fredrik Vahlquist is currently Ambassador to the Vatican and Malta, stationed in Stockholm. He has previously served at the embassies in Helsinki, Brussels, Paris, New Delhi, Ankara and Harare, and held various positions in the Government Offices.
Lars Fredén and Fredrik Vahlquist will take up their positions in autumn 2008. Anne Marie Dierauer will take up her position in January 2009.
