Visits to the capitals of EU Member States are valuable when it comes to building up good personal relations with minister colleagues in other Member States and involve good opportunities to be able to present and seek support for Swedish priorities in various areas, and to listen to the Member States' views and ideas. An important issue being taken up at these meetings are plans for a future Stockholm Programme - the future working programme in the field of justice and home affairs for the period 2010-2014.
