Carl Bildt to Munich for security conference
On 5-6 February, Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt will be taking part in the annual Munich Security Conference.
Mr Bildt will be moderating a panel discussion on the Transcaucasian region and the Western Balkans and taking part in talks with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Manouchehr Mottaki.
The Munich Security Conference is an independent international forum for foreign and security policy decision-makers. This year's conference is the 46th of its kind.
Discussions at the conference will focus on transatlantic and European security policy. Global challenges such as energy security, climate change and international cooperation will also be addressed.
