Minister for International Development Cooperation visits Östergötland
Minister for International Development Cooperation Gunilla Carlsson will visit Bergska skolan in Finspång and Hagagymnasiet in Norrköping on Friday 27 April. She will speak to upper secondary school pupils about sustainable development, how Sweden can assist in resolving global environmental and poverty-related problems, and Rio+20, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro.
Ahead of Rio+20, Minister for International Development Cooperation Gunilla Carlsson has announced an essay contest for upper secondary school pupils in Sweden. The winner of the contest will accompany Ms Carlsson to Rio+20 in June. For more information see www.ud.se/rio+20.
Gunilla Carlsson will also participate in a fundraising project, Bullhjälpen, at Bergvallaskolan in Borensberg.
