New Ambassador to Finland
The Government today appointed Anders Lidén as Ambassador in Helsinki. Mr Lidén is currently Ambassador in Harare, Zimbabwe. Prior to that he has been head of the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations in New York, Director-General for Political Affairs at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Ambassador in Tel Aviv. He has also served at the Embassy in Beirut, the Ministrys Middle East and North Africa Department and at the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations. Mr Lidén will take up his new post in the autumn of 2012.
