Summary
The aim of the conference "European Cities and the Global Climate Challenge" was to strengthen national and EU work on sustainable urban development and energy-smart construction, and the links to international climate work, environmental technology and employment. More than 150 government and organisational representatives took part. This report summarises the presentations and discussions held during the two-day conference.
