Investment promotion
The Government prioritises active investment promotion to attract foreign direct investment to Sweden.
Invest Sweden is tasked with promoting foreign direct investment in Sweden, which helps increase employment and economic growth. Activities focus on information campaigns, marketing projects in strategic sectors and regional cooperation.
The Invest Sweden cooperates actively with national, regional and local actors. At present, Invest Sweden has representation in some ten countries (with agency offices in China, Japan and the US) and cooperates in the international market with Sweden's embassies and consulates, and the Swedish Trade Council.
