Swedish Government Offices

In 2010, the Government Offices was made up of the Prime Minister's Office, twelve ministries and the Office for Administrative Affairs. Missions abroad within the Ministry for Foreign Affairs - i.e. embassies, consulates, representations and delegations to the UN, the EU, the OECD and other organisations - also belong to the Government Offices.

In 2010, the Government Offices had approximately 4 500 employees, 200 of whom are politically appointed ministers and officials.
