Swedish Style in Australia 2005
Swedish Style is being held for the first time in Australia in March 2005. This is the largest promotional project ever in Australia and coincides with the 2005 Year of Design in Sweden.
Swedish Style in Australia aims to present contemporary Sweden, deepen cooperation between Australia and Sweden and market newly established companies or those wishing to establish operations in the Australian market.
Contemporary Sweden will be presented through design, fashion, environmental protection, tourism, music and gastronomy.
A number of Swedish designers and artists as well as representatives of the travel and tourism industry will be taking part in this event.

World Expo in Aichi in 2005
Sweden is participating along with the other Nordic countriesDenmark, Finland, Iceland and Norwayin the World Expo in Aichi, Japan. The joint pavilion exhibits Nordic values in areas such as the environment, energy, design and Nordic lifestyles. The Expo opens on 25 March and will run for six months.
