Minister for Education Jan Björklund to visit Israel and Palestine
On 12-16 February, Minister for Education Jan Björklund will visit Israel and Palestine. The purpose of his visit is to strengthen Sweden's research relations with Israel and to learn more about the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
During his visit, Mr Björklund will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority Salam Fayyad.

Visit to Technion - Israel Institute of Technology
Tuesday 14 February
Meetings with Education Minister Gideon Saar and Science and Technology Minister Daniel Hershkowitz
Visit to Yad Vashem
Wednesday 15 February
Meetings with the UN and other organisations with activities in Jerusalem and in the West Bank, and visits to Hebron and the observer mission Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH)
Thursday 16 February
Meeting with Prime Minister Salam Fayyad
