Meeting to boost export opportunities to Russia
State Secretary Magnus Kindbom will visit Russia on 4-6 June. Talks and discussions during his visit will centre on forestry and agriculture.
The potential for exports to Russia is great. It is important for Sweden to open up export opportunities for raw materials from both forestry and agriculture. I hope that the visit will serve as a catalyst for our trade relations with Russia, says Minister for Rural Affairs Eskil Erlandsson.
During his three-day visit to Moscow, Mr Kindbom will meet with Russian Government representatives involved in forestry and agricultural issues. Mr Kindbom will also be meeting Swedish businesses operating in Russias agriculture and forestry sectors.
