Summary
New legislation on sexual crimes came into force on 1 April 2005. The purpose of this legislation is to further strengthen and make clear the absolute right of every individual to personal and sexual integrity and sexual self-determination and to highlight and strengthen in different ways protection for children and young people from sexual violations.
