The strategy’s areas of activity are:
- capacity and institutional development of organisations in developing countries through international training programmes (ITP),
- resource base development (primarily through Swedish staff working in multilateral organisations and the EU, training programmes in Sida’s field operations, and scholarship, exchange and trainee programmes),
- collaboration with and support through business sector actors (Business for Development/B4D), and
- Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D).
