Ungas deltagande diskuteras på digitalt CSO-forum

Ungas deltagande i demokratiska processer står i fokus för årets CSO-forum den 14 till 16 september. Närmare 250 representanter från civilsamhället, regeringen, svenska utlandsmyndigheter och näringslivet deltar i mötet, som i år är digitalt och delvis webbsänds.

Under forumet diskuteras genomförandet av regeringens och civilsamhällets gemensamma åtaganden för stärkt dialog och samverkan inom utvecklingssamarbetet. Det kommer även att vara gruppdiskussioner om arbetet med demokrati och mänskliga rättigheter i svåra kontexter, panelsamtal om ungas roll i det krympande demokratiska utrymmet och en presentation om verktyg för att nå informella rörelser.

Syftet med forumet är att följa upp regeringen och civilsamhällets gemensamma åtaganden för att tillsammans skapa bättre förutsättningar att möta globala utmaningar.
